HARISS INTERNATIONAL DONATES RECYCLE BINS TO ENTEBBE ZOO

On 29th February 2024, Hariss International handed over 60 recycle bins to UWEC, recognizing the importance of proper waste management in preserving our planet's biodiversity . These bins were to be strategically placed across the zoo, encouraging visitors to responsibly dispose off their waste and participate in recycling initiatives.

At Hariss International, we are deeply committed to sustainability, and this partnership with UWEC underscores our ongoing efforts to minimize our environmental footprint and contribute positively to the communities we serve," said Comfort Ahumuza, Corporate and Sustainability Coordinator.

Our journey continues. As a company that utilizes plastics in packaging, we are dedicated to promoting environmental consciousness and increasing the national recycling rate, which currently stands at only 9%.
